Lead IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled Lead IT Infrastructure/IT Manager to oversee org IT operations and contribute directly to our information security initiatives. This position will report to the Head of IT & Security and will combine responsibilities as an individual contributor over specific IT functions. The Lead IT Infrastructure/ IT Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable IT infrastructure, safeguarding information assets, and supporting compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
IT Operations &Infrastructure
Manage Org-wide IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, end-user computing, and SaaS platforms.
Provide direct hands-on support in system administration, troubleshooting, and configuration.
Oversee IT service delivery in alignment with ITIL practices, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient user support.
Handle vendor coordination, software licensing, and asset management.
Information Security & Compliance
Support the Head of IT & security in implementing security strategies and frameworks.
Act as an individual contributor in key InfoSec activities such as:
Access management and privileged account controls.
Perform monthly user access review
Security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
Incident detection, response, and reporting.
Maintain compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, (as applicable).
Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and the maintenance of security policies and procedures.
Maintain Risk Register with Up-to-date
Governance & Risk Management
Ensure IT processes adhere to governance frameworks and corporate policies.
Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, and risk assessments.
Support security awareness training and internal stakeholder education.
Project & Change Management
Drive IT and InfoSec-related projects including system upgrades, security tool implementation, and cloud initiatives.
Collaborate with business units to align IT and security requirements with organizational goals.
Ensure projects are completed within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate IT/security operations and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and evolving security threats.
Recommend tools, processes, and policies to strengthen IT and security posture.
Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8–12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in a hybrid IT/InfoSec role.
Hands-on expertise in infrastructure management (networks, servers, cloud) and
security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP).
Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Cloud Security (AWS/Azure Security Specialty) highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
