DevSecOps Engineer

The DevSecOps Engineer role at Scienaptic will enable you to be at the forefront of secure, scalable, and automated technology infrastructure — ensuring the continuous and secure delivery of our AI-driven credit decisioning platform. You will collaborate with best-in-class Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product teams in an environment that encourages innovation, ownership, and end-to-end contribution across technology domains.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize, architect, and build automated deployment pipelines in CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for cloud and on-premise environments.
Embed security and compliance best practices at every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management,using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Manage containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
Deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS and other cloud environments.
Lead efforts for vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and secure configuration baselines.
Implement and maintain observability tools for proactive performance and security monitoring. Configure and maintain observability platforms and alerting tools such as Grafana.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure compliance and seamless releases.
Implement network security, IAM policies, and monitoring to safeguard infrastructure and data.
Work directly with clients to understand technical challenges and provide timely, effective solutions.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline deployment and operational tasks.
Skills & Competencies
4–7 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Expertise in Linux/UNIX administration, networking, and system security.
Proficiency in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience configuring monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana (Observability platform).
Strong understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Prior experience in cloud deployment and CI/CD implementation.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting.
Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP) and data formats such as JSON and XML.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven record of client interaction and technical problem-solving
